Everett Suttle

Everett Suttle, a native of LaFayette, Georgia, is a graduate of the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. He continued his studies at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, and the Brahms Haus in Baden Baden, West Germany. He has also coached with such outstanding artists as Luciano Pavarotti, Peter Pears, Martin Arroyo, Eleanor Stever and David Garvey.

In repertoire that ranges from Baroque masterpieces of Bach and Handel, to complex twentieth century works of Britten and Tippet, Mr. Suttle has appeared internationally in opera, oratorio and recital. He has sung with such prestigious companies as La Scala in Milan, Opera Bastille in Paris, Teatro Real in Madrid, Rome Opera in Italy, and Den Norsk Opera in Oslo, Norway.

Everett has performed in opera and concert with such conductors as Raymond Leppard, Sergin Commisiona and Jon DeMain. His most recent engagements include performances at the Teatro Communale in Bologna, Italy; the Royal Opera House in Copenhagen, Denmark; Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool, England; and Queens Hall in Trinidad. Upcoming dates include performances in Holland, Israel and Australia. Mr. Suttle also appeared in the historic Live from Lincoln Center television broadcast of the Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess on PBS in March 2002.
